About this work
The still life with bottles is clearly an early Helmantel. Grandma's tablecloth and a few simple bottles, not comparable to the masterpieces Henk was able to buy and paint in later life. Nevertheless, the painter demonstrates that he is a fantastic glass painter. Painted with razor-sharp precision, it is a very powerful work.
