About this work
Interest in Debora Makkus's work is growing significantly. With 40 museum exhibitions to date, her work is coming to the fore. In 2025, she will paint a series of Roman glass from my private collection. In Roman III, she depicts a Roman square bottle from the 1st-2nd Century AD. They were used for the transport of liquids. The iridescence on the bottle is beautifully rendered. The square bottle is available to the buyer of the work.
