About this work
In 2025, Debora Makkus will paint a series of glass from my private collection. Unguentaria were mainly used to store perfumed oils or cosmetics. Anyone who sees the bottles from the 2nd-4th century AD will immediately notice that they served as inspiration and were not repainted, and that she has once again succeeded in combining the Roman glass with her own unique style.
